Addictions Reporting Coordinator #546

The Addictions Reporting Coordinator manages referrals of clients mandated for substance abuse treatment. Maintain communication with referents. Provide ongoing education to Addictions team about the laws and processes governing mandated clients and the expectations of referents. Provide support to Addictions Team by overseeing the production and processing of client status reports.

Location: This position is based out of LifeWorks NW's Beaverton site.

Pay/Benefits: $23.92 starting hourly pay, plus pro-rated benefits.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with other LifeWorks NW departments (IT, Front Desk, Intake, Billing) to track mandated clients referred to the Addictions program. 
  • Maintains electronic information using LifeWorks NW information systems and Microsoft Access.  Generates reports as needed.  Confers periodically with Data Analyst regarding database maintenance and expansion.
  • Issues DMV Completion Certificates and answers DMV-related inquiries by clients and former clients.
  • Provides effective customer service to DUII Evaluators, Probation Officers, DHS Workers and other referents to LifeWorks NW Addictions Program.
  • Provides regular trainings on status reporting at Addictions team meetings. 
  • Receives and respond to Addictions-related requests from the LifeWorks NW website.
  • Checks e-mail/voice mail daily/throughout the day when working responding to contacts during working hours.
  • Continually improves cultural sensitivity, awareness and competency in all phases of work.
  • Participates in regular individual and team meetings with supervisor.  Attend informational and clinical meetings which may include all staff and team meetings, consultation with other staff and required trainings.
  • Meets performance standards for productivity, accuracy and quality of work, customer service, teamwork, attendance and punctuality as well as projects/objectives as defined in the Performance Review.
  • Travels between sites or in the community.

Requirements: 

  • BA/BS degree and minimum three years relevant work, education, training, or experience preferred.
  • If recovering from a substance abuse disorder, must be able to demonstrate continuous sobriety under nonresidential, independent living conditions for the immediate past two years.
  • Knowledge of Oregon DUII and other systems related to mandated clients preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of legal and governmental processes.
  • Excellent computer skills including a functional knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Access.  Ability to master proprietary software including electronic health record system. 
  • Effective communication skills, including excellent writing skills, and ability to maintain cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Interest in the process and field of recovery.

  • Requires a valid driver's license, access to a car, and the ability to drive. 
  • Ability to perform essential functions of job without creating a direct threat to the safety of self or others.
