Clinical Operations Manager #1307

The Clinical Operations Manager  partners with clinical leadership to develop strategies that ensure the delivery of quality patient care and efficient operations. Responsibilities include clinic scheduling, management of consumer & staff work flows, overseeing site needs (supplies, maintenance etc), and working with agency departments to ensure timely and accurate billing. In partnership with the clinical leadership the Clinic Operation Manager plays a critical role with senior leadership to communicate site needs, contribute to strategic conversations, and contribute to the overall success of LifeWorks NW. They establish and maintain an operating environment that assures effective, efficient, and safe consumer service delivery.

Location: This position is based out of LifeWorks NW's Beaverton site.

Pay/Benefits: $69,869-$90,411 salary with Full benefits.

Salary Placement Notice:
The posted salary range reflects the compensation potential for this role. Most candidates will be placed between the entry level and midpoint of the range, depending on their experience and qualifications. However, more seasoned professionals with extensive exact or similar experience may be considered for placement toward the higher end of the range. Final salary offers are made in alignment with internal compensation processes in accordance with Oregon Pay Equity laws.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities within the clinic, including managing clinical support staff and provider schedules, directing clinic flow, leading processes, operational policies, and procedures, and acting as a resource to the clinic staff and consumers.
  • Oversees staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and maximum efficiency. Maximizes productivity and minimizes overtime through effective scheduling and staffing.
  • Partners with Clinical Leadership Team to problem-solve patient care issues, optimize clinic workflows, promote effective coworker relationships, achieve financial stability, and develop improvements.
  • Report progress, operational issues, and organizational opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team and direct supervisor
  • Pull data reports and analyze results to monitor the site/programs performance.
  • Work with clinic staff and providers on quality initiatives and managing quality metrics. Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify and drive quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Work with the Leadership Team on management functions including interviewing, selection, orientation, education/training, feedback, and performance evaluation.
  • Promote a team approach to delivering quality patient care.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of LifeWorks NW.
  • Builds and maintains a strong leadership team through coaching, mentoring and accountability.
  • Assists in responding to consumer complaints and trends with support from LWNW management.
  • Check e-mail/voice mail daily when working responding within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Travels between sites or in the community
  • Requires ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Three plus year's healthcare and/or behavioral healthcare management (5 years preferred) and supervisory experience in a community behavioral health or medical setting.
  • BA or BS in Health Care Administration or Business Administration - Preferred.
  • Demonstrated organizational, administrative and program development interest and skill.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent data analytics and computer skills including a functional knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to master use of proprietary software including electronic health record system.
  • If recovering from a substance abuse related disorder, must be able to demonstrate continuous sobriety under nonresidential, independent living conditions for the immediate past two years.
